We make our living producing fresh, organic vegetables and the best pastured chicken eggs for our community. Self-serve, honor system farm stand open daily. Eggs put out by 8am daily $6/doz. Year-round, seasonal organic produce, with a focus on potatoes, onions, and squash. Cash/check. In the summer, stop by to see thousands of sunflowers blooming in the field!
History: We spent most of our previous adult life working various seasonal jobs, interspersed with backpacking & travelling the world. One of our last jobs, where we met, was working for the United States Antarctic Program – Nick as Head Baker at McMurdo Station & Jennifer as manager for food service operations. In 2013, we decided to literally put down roots and established The Farm. We’ve grown to ~425 hens, 3 rodent hunting cats, and our Great Pyrenees rescue dog, Parker, that protects our flocks from aerial predators! We are fortunate to live in a place with fertile soils, a mild climate, and a community that supports our small farm.
